what a great post. I came over to visit your blog because someone on Facebook mentioned Epiphany. I gave you a shout-out over there!
This is a beautiful post and so much of it is exactly what I&#039;ve been trying to communicate in my new book. I, too, was raised on the &quot;good-Christians-go-to-Africa-and-die-of-poisonous-spider-bites worldview.&quot; altho the latest trend in that is good Christians move to the inner city etc.
I try to explain to people that I&#039;m loving my middle-class suburban neighbors for Jesus, and that it matters. I love how Mother T. put it--learn to see the poverty in the people you live with. Exactly!
