I've been trying to find the words for the past few years to express what Lent means to me, how it's helped me to connect to the community of God, and God's work in the world at large. I think I love what you said best: it helps us create space for God to work in our lives. Like many other, I'm sure, Lent wasn't a part of my church experience for years, but God has used it over the past few years in an amazing way. And it's been a segue for me into learning more about and leaning into the seasons of the church, hence my interest in and appreciation for your book!
