My dear, I’m amazed you can still read books. I just don’t have the brain cells, as I have to keep explaining to my mother as to why I haven’t read all of the books she’s written. Once her Bathsheba book is actually in print (a few months off) I don’t think I’ll have an excuse any longer. For the record, “Farmer Boy” was always my favorite of the Ingalls Wilder books. It was probably the descriptions of all the food that wowed me. Also, “9 Coaches Waiting” is one of the best of Mary Stewart’s romances. If you haven’t read her others, I can give you a list.
I leave for CA on Saturday, early. I’ll be sending your birthday card from there.

I’m so glad to hear good things about Catwings. It is on our list for school next year and I don’t know a thing about it. Sarah Plain and Tall is also on our list and a bunch of others that I’m not familiar with. I’m glad to know that there are sequels in case we enjoy them as much as you have!
