I was planning to write a really funny post today about how my kids and I got hit with a stomach virus this week – the nausea! the vomiting! the diarrhea! oh my! – but that was back when I blithely assumed we’d all be well by now.

We’re not. Yesterday morning at oh-dark-thirty, my daughter and I managed to contract another iteration of this bug, and I am too sick and too tired to be amused. Also, I keep running out of clean sheets, which is making me really, really grumpy.

So I apologize for this massively lame post. I fully intend (and hope and pray) that by next week I will have regained both my health and my sense of humor.

In the meantime, I’m going to go take one of my newly-prescribed, pregnancy-safe, anti-nausea drugs (which has the much-to-be-desired side effect of drowsiness) and hope that it works.

I also hope that you and yours stay far, far away from anything even remotely viral.
